Paging Herzel

Oldies in the holy land

I've heard of it after it happened.
I must have missed the announcement about it, there was no fanfare to speak of.
I ate my heart out while watching the video.

After eating your heart out... hopefully you kicked...

yurself in the tush as well!

What an event and I had no idea that Israel had such a collection of eclectic enthusiasts!

You woulda fit in well, Herzel!

All foregin cars

None or very very few were local. This was a grand tour, set up by the ministry of tourism or something like that.
The participants had the red carpet treat all the way.
I think it was a blue blood event all the way.

No kidding... what a shame... but maybe it...

will cause some locals to become more interested and apply for inclusion in the event... or do something similar.

Besides you and Momo... I'm sure there are a few others...

Activity

We have a very active group called "the five club". Early in the 50's licence plates had but 5 digits to them and hence the name.
The group holds weekly meetings at 4 locations, the major one being in Tel Aviv (some 30 miles north of me).
I participate once or twice a year.
At least once a month there is an unveiling ceremony for a new addition' either just restored or new in the country.
Maybe I should bring this "holy land tour" up for discussion in the group.
Be well.
