Replacement coolant tank

Isn't it great we have 2 choices for tanks now?

I vote for the bayless style if your car looks factory. If you have lots of shiny aftermarket stuff under the hood, then the vicks one might look more "modified" appropriate.

Car is nearly all original, but has reached the point where I'm going to have to replace some things.

Plastic is out.

Matter of taste

They both look like they're on the same playing field as far as durability, fitment, price, quality, functionality etc.

I don't have first hand experience with either piece so take that for what it's worth.....

I could go either way as well and these are also my two favorite vendors. My tie breaker would be what else I'm ordering and availability/price of the other parts.. (does anybody really order one piece at a time?)

I know I'm the minority on this topic, but I like the plastic tank for the ability to "see" where my coolant level is at a glance.

It's a nice feature, but they aren't making plastic ones anymore and I don't need to keep replacing them due to age and cracks.
