True Classic
...not the BlueX this time.
Was kinda nice not dealing with trailering prepared car.
Run what ya brung...a throwback to simpler times.
Not nearly the adrenalin rush, but fun all the same.
Many of Alfa Club's members haven't seen the 128 previously,
so that was fun showing it off.
Noticed alot more enthusiasm for docile 128 than killer X1/9.
Perhaps because the X is well known...the 128 not so much.

Anyway...the lil' sedan in action...dressed up with Campy 4 spokes for the occassion.

Nice!

Nice to see a street 128 (not to mention one so perfect) on the track. This is what track days are to me; running a daily driver on a road course. Anyone can do well (ok maybe not me) with a prepared car, but it takes a certain caliber of driver to do well in a street car.

Cool pics!

I agree. I loved driving the wee out of my '86 VW Golf against a racetrack full of Porsches. Zoom zoom zoom they would go on the straight and then I would reel them in on the rest of the course such that they would sometimes not pass me down the straight so I didn't push them around the rest of the track. (Porsches are fast, the drivers sometimes not so much...)

Looks great out there. Thanks for sharing!
