Welcome to Xweb! :)

How hard is it to get in and out of those seats? They look like Kirkey race seats.

Congrats and welcome to the XWeb

Please ask questions if you run into trouble. Pretty much anything that can happen to an X has been resolved somewhere on this forum by someone.

There are some great resources here besides the people, the Wiki has manuals and how tos, Best of Xweb (BOX) https://xwebforums.com/forum/index.php?threads/best-of-xweb-box.36451/ has links to threads which cover a variety of subjects and the XWeb Google Search JimD put together is better than the forum one: https://cse.google.com/cse?cx=03798ac7009be628d

Again, ask questions, folks here are quick with answers as this is an active forum.

Welcome. I'd love to hear the details of the car - year, mileage, how you came across it, etc.... and of course, more photos....

That's exactly what they are! I have to really push myself up to get out but they do hold me pretty good. A friend of mine helped me get the seat belts reinstalled and now I feel much safer! When the guy I purchased this car from took over this project the seats were missing so he got these welded to the factory rails so they can be adjusted for how long your legs are! Before the seat belts were reinstalled I had a real fear of being thrown out of the car if I got into an accident. Not how I wanted to leave this world. Now I feel much safer!

Welcome and Rust free is as good as it gets. Mechanicals can all be replaced but much harder to deal with Rust.
